DELORiS CARHEE
Currently, I serve as a Director on the National Board of United Women in Faith. I am from the North Georgia Conference and enjoyed serving in numerous positions on the Conference, District and Local Levels of the United Women in Faith and General Church. I continue to serve on numerous Boards and leadership roles in my Conference. I have also served as the Dean of Regional School in the Southeastern Jurisdiction.
I have been a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia since 1971. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee. I received my education at Memphis State University and Georgia State University. I retired from Delta Airlines in 2005 with thirty-two years of service but returned as a contractor the month after retirement.
My husband, Winston K. Carhee, Sr. and I have two adult children, a son-in- law, daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons.
I love spending time with my family & friends, looking at movies, traveling and relaxing with a good book to read.
I strive to do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God. My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:3-6.
