WORKSHOP TITLE:

Living in a Sandwich: The Impact of Caregiving on Caregivers


WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This workshop will explore why caregivers’ health and well-being matters. We will look at how caregiving can impact the health of caregivers as well as other associated challenges. We will also look at resources for all Caregivers within the community.



SUZANNE BROWN

Suzanne Brown received her Master of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. Since 2019 she has served veterans and their caregivers in the Homeless Program and Caregiver Support Programs at James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.


Previously she worked in the jail and court systems in Northeast TN and was employed as a foster care worker in Montgomery County, VA. Suzanne is a member of Colonial Heights UMC. She lives in Kingsport, TN with her husband of 15 years, Chris and two children, Ella and Henry.
