Karen George

Karen George was born and educated in Chattanooga, TN and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.  

Along with her husband, Chris, and their son, Ben (18), she now lives in Oak Ridge, TN.  Karen is an award-winning REALTOR® and now Broker, a comedienne, an actor, a Toastmasters-trained public speaker and an avid philanthropist.  Karen is a member of the Pilot Club International of Oak Ridge, NAREB Greater Realists of Knoxville, National Coalition of 100 Black Women of Greater Knoxville and the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce.  Karen is President of the Women's Council of REALTORS Knoxville Network. 

She has been performing clean comedy publicly since 2010.

Karen, a clean, family friendly comedienne who has been tickling peoples' funny bones since 2010 in cities and towns from Washington D.C. to Atlanta, GA. 

Karen takes everyday situations and life itself and makes it funny. One reviewer wrote, "Karen will make you laugh so hard, you'll wish you'd worn a diaper!"

Question from an interviewer. Do you find the comedy business to be more difficult because you’re a woman?

Karen Green's response: It is most difficult because I refuse to do raunchy, adult comedy. I mostly perform at private parties, churches, and civic organization
